  • Indoor pool, 3ft shallow end, 10 ft deep end, 25 yards long, 6 lanes wide, water slide
  • Outdoor pool, 4ft shallow end, 12 ft deep end, 25 yards long, 6 lanes wide, 2 water slides, diving board
  • Outdoor play pool, zero entry shallow end, 3 ft deep end, mushroom fountain
  • Lifeguard on duty at all times
  • An adult must actively supervise Children under the age of 7 at all times
  • Children who do not swim, and/or are wearing a flotation device, must be accompanied by an adult in the water)
  • Children who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers or tight fitting plastic pants
  • Private Pool Parties available after hours $100/hr – exclusive use of the pool
  • Swim Lessons available all year long

Swim Lessons
Since the early 1900s, the YMCA has been a pioneer in aquatics safety and instruction. In 1907, the first group swim lessons were taught at the Detroit YMCA. Since then, the YMCA movement across the United States has lead the industry in providing excellence in swim instruction. At the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, every swim lesson participant has the opportunity to learn and succeed. Our program divides participants by age group and ability. It incorporates into every lesson our four character development values: Caring, Honesty,Respect and Responsibility.

Levels:
Parent/Child (6-36 months) Ratio 10:1
In parent/child classes, parents accompany their children in the pool to acquaint them with the water environment. Parents are guided in how to work with their children in the pool.

Preschool (3-5 years), Ratio 5:1
Youth (6-14 years), Ratio 6:1

Adult (15 and older) — Private lessons by appointment for all ages.

Brentwood Family YMCA Seahawks Swim Team
Our swim team is for children ages 5 to 18, and is for swimmers of all ability levels. Swimmers should be able to swim one length of the pool (any stroke or paddle) upon registration. Summer Swim Team practive begins the last week in May, and swim meets are on Tuesdays throughout June and July. We are members of the Williamson County Swim League and participate in the Williamson County Swim League Championship Meet at the end of July. Our Summer Season focuses on improving skills while having fun and building confidence. We also have year-round swim team! We swim in the YMCA league in the fall, winter and spring, with one meet a month. Our Fall/Winter season and Winter/Spring seasonare both 16 weeks long. Groups are smaller to focus on improving swim team skills to prepare for the Summer season.

Pre Swim Team
Pre Swim team is for swimmers who are not quite sure if they are ready for swim team. This class will help them prepare for swim team by focusing on stroke technique and endurance. It is a four week session and meets twice a week. You may choose M/W or T/Th from 6-6:45pm. The cost is $60 facility members/$120 program members.
