Membership Policies
We welcome anyone in the community to join our association and reap the
benefits of a YMCA membership. As with any private organization, one
must adhere to the standards and commitments of being a member of the
YMCA as stated in the Member Code of Conduct and Enforcement Policy.
Members, guests and visitors expressly assume the risk of damage or harm to person or property.
Guest Policy
The YMCA is a member organization and
we encourage membership through member guest privileges. Members are
invited to bring a local guest, with photo identification, with them to
enjoy the YMCA at no additional charge. Each local guest will be
limited to one visit to the YMCA per calendar year.
Out-of-town guests of a facility member may visit the YMCA, with the
member, for up to two weeks. Out of town guests are defined as visitors
living outside of the service area of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. Our service area includes the following counties:
Davidson, Williamson, Maury, Dickson, Rutherford, Wilson, Putnam,
Sumner, Montgomery, Robertson and Allen County, KY.
Guests must provide photo identification and sign a guest
release form in order to enter the facility. An adult (with a photo
identification card) must be on the premises with a guest under the age
of 12. Guests under the age of 18 must be signed in by a parent or
parent of the guest and provide emergency contact information.
All members should check with their local YMCA center to determine
local center guest hours. In order to avoid overcrowding, some centers
have limited guest hours during times of peak usage.
Members of other YMCAs involved in the AWAY program and temporarily
visiting from out of town, may use the YMCA of Middle Tennessee for up
to 14 visits per calendar year.
Because we are a member organization, we no longer allow guests
without an affiliation to a member or to another YMCA to visit our
facilities through a day use guest fee.
