Youth Sports
The 2008 Fall Youth Soccer registration deadline was July 6. As of today there are a limited number of spaces available in each age division, so you can still register, just add $15 to the fee. Get the printable 2008 Fall Soccer registration form here.
YMCA youth sports provide recreational activities in a team setting with an emphasis on FUNdamentals in a Christian environment. Children are encouraged to participate, learn and grow in skills, confidence, and character. Parents, volunteers and staff who are committed to the values of CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY support our leagues.
Registration
Youth sports are for ages 3-14 in soccer and 6-18 in basketball. Individual sport registration forms are in the lobby of the YMCA. All participants must be a facility member or program member. Season dates are subject to change based on make-up games and league size at the end of registration.
Team Formation
Players are grouped according to their age as of July 31. Each team will be permitted to place the head coach and assistant coach's child (total of two) on the roster. Teams will then be formulated based on the previous coach's evaluations on each player. Teams will be formed with the highest degree of fairness and equality in mind.
Visit our Youth Sports Web site for more detailed information on how teams are selected at Brentwood Family YMCA.
