Chairman's Roundtable

Philanthrophy: The love of humankind
In 2007 alone, 1,202 Chairman's Roundtable members provided gifts of over $4 million, which enable the YMCA to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

Their kindness and generosity has no bounds. They help to ensure YMCA programs are available to all, regardless of an individual's or family's ability to pay. The goodwill of Chairman's Roundtable members expands YMCA programs that instill the values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility.

Your Chairman's Roundtable membership will touch and change lives and inspire others. Your membership will raise someone's sights and give thousands in your community a brighter tomorrow. Your act of faith will help others grow in spirit, mind and body, as you too reap the satisfaction of knowing that you have truly made a difference.

A special note about contributing non-cash gifts
Many Chairman's Roundtable members fulfill their gift investment by transferring securities to the YMCA. By contributing gifts of appreciated stock or other assets, including property, you may receive a charitable deduction equal to the current value of the asset without incurring capital gains taxes. For many donors, the actual cost of making such a gift will be significantly less than an equivalent gift of cash. Your YMCA can assist you in making the gift; however, before making any decision, please consult an attorney or financial advisor.

The Timing of Your Gift
Your Chairman's Roundtable gift can be fulfilled at any time up to the end of the year. We would be happy to remind you of your commitment at a schedule that is convenient to you. We are able to accept gifts by check, credit card, and the transfer of securities or other assets where appropriate.

Or, for more information, please e-mail Jeff Parsley at jparsley@ymcamidtn.org.
