Progress continues and our building begins to thae a new look!
The new front entrance of the facility is beginning to take a dramatic new shape. As extensive steel work is ongoing the building is taking on a new profile and look.
EXPERIENCING THE CHANGES
· The facility will go from our current space of 57,928 square feet to a total of 182,367.
Well more than time times its current size.
· The facilities parking area will grow from 63 on site spaces to 216 spaces available on site. Again a growth of more than 300% the current number.
· The new Women’s locker area will feature a freshly remodeled shower area, the addition of a stream room, new lockers, carpeting and light fixtures.
· The improved Men’s locker area, as the Women’s, will get new lockers carpeting and light fixtures. Both the Men’s and Women’s locker areas have been remodeled to provide a better flow of traffic with and improved “door less” entry ways.
· Steel workers continue to reshape the structure of the entrance of the facility; the architectural design elements are taking shape to provide a complimentary look and enhancement to the feel of the “New Downtown”.

Where to Park
Members with YMCA parking passes should park by the back entrance or in the LifeWay North parking lot directly behind and across the street from the Y. There will be YMCA staff stationed at the LifeWay parking lot gate to provide access to our members through the gate as well as to provide parking passes for purchase to our members who do not have them.
How to Get There
To access these parking spaces, you will need to turn onto 10th Avenue North from either Broadway or Charlotte Avenue. There is no direct access to these lots from either Church Street or McLemore Street.
The upstairs entrance on McLemore Street will remain open and all classes will meet as scheduled.
