Available to All:
The YMCA is committed to helping everyone belong to the YMCA regardless of their ability to pay. Please ask a YMCA Member Services Specialist about membership rates based on household income through the YMCA's Income Based Rate Scale. Additional information can be found in the "Financial Assistance" and "Rate Calculator" tabs on the left side of this screen.
Downtown YMCA Tours:
The Downtown YMCA offers guided facility tours during business hours. Just stop by the Welcome Center to arrange for your personal 20 minute tour. Tours do not have to be scheduled in advance.
Downtown YMCA Parking:
There are three parking lots for Downtown YMCA members: The first lot is the covered parking garage on McLemore Street; the second lot is directly across from the Downtown YMCA main entrance on McLemore Street: and the third lot is by the 10th Street YMCA rear entrance.
Members have several choices for payment of parking fees: $8 per month if paid by automatic bank draft, $10 per month if paid in advance by cash, check, or credit card; or $5 per day if paid day by day.
There are also a few city monitored meter parking spaces on McLemore Street and some free parking spaces on 10th Street
Members are free to park their car in one of the YMCA three lots for up to three hours per day provided appropriate parking fees have been paid.
