Youth in Government
The Tennessee YMCA Youth in Government program teaches that democracy must be learned by each generation. The purpose of the program is to enhance development of the American democratic system by enabling young people to prepare for moral and political leadership through training in the theory and practice of determining public policy. The program is a partnership between the YMCA and area high schools and middle schools.
