Welcome Center
The Cool Springs YMCA's Welcome Center is your one-stop shop to have your member cards scanned, check in guests and get answers to any questions you may have. You can also sign up for programs and schedule wellness appointments.
Guests must sign in and have a photo taken and registered into our membership system for identification purposes.
An alternate entrance may be used by those members and guests requiring handicap access.
Wellness Center
Our 2,500-square-foot Wellness Center is a comprehensive workout facility for all fitness levels, ages and areas of interest. Bathed in natural light, the location has a welcoming atmosphere and a spirit of community.
Wellness staff members are always on hand to help answer any questions you may have during your time on the wellness floor. They can also connect you with both free and fee-based programs and services to help you set and achieve your health and fitness goals.
Our Cardio Theater is a popular feature where members can take in a movie on a theater screen while exercising on treadmills, elliptical machines or recumbent bikes.

STAR PHYSICAL THERAPY CLINIC
Located within our facility, this clinic features a diverse offering of quality services and you do not have to be a YMCA Member to have physical therapy here. YMCA Members are able to receive free injury assessments. Signup at the Welcome Center!
Group Exercise Facilities
We offer more than 40 group exercise classes each week in our three studios. Studios A and B are utilized for cardio, strength and yoga classes. The Spirit, Mind, Body Studio is reserved for yoga and active older adult classes. All studios offer the basic equipment required for classes offered. One exception is kickboxing class participants, who need to bring their own boxing gloves.

Indoor Cycling
We offer 20 bikes for indoor cycling workouts. These bikes, by StarTrac and Schwinn, are available on a first come, first serve basis—no reservations are required.
Locker Rooms
We have one women's and one men's locker room. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian of the same gender. There are no rental lockers available. Bath towels may be requested at the Welcome Center.
The women's locker room offers 100 lockers, six shower stalls and has one small private changing area. Amenities include hair dryers, hand-held mirrors and an iron and ironing board. The men's facility has 75 lockers, eight shower stalls and a blow dryer.
Those using the locker room facilities are expected to follow the stated code of conduct as outlined in the locker room rules and YMCA Member Handbook.
Supervised Children's Activity Areas
Y-Play
More than just a safe place to look after your children while you work out, our Y-Play service offers children ages 6 weeks to 6 years the chance to get the most out of their own visit to the Y through playing, learning and staying physically active.
Y-Play is offered for children of members. Infants and young toddlers have their own room, while older children up to age 6 utilize a main activity room and kitchen area.
Additional information
Children may stay at Y-Play for up to two hours per day and a maximum of nine hours per week.
Parents/guardians are the only adults authorized to leave a child with Y-Play, and are required to remain on-site at the Y during their child's visit. Only the parent or guardian who signs a child into Y-Play may sign them out or pick them up.
Youth Activity Center
Our Youth Activity Center offers children ages 7-12 can enjoy the chance to exercise on our Rock Climb Wall, watch movies, play board games, do arts and crafts, complete homework and spend time with friends under the supervision of a qualified, trained staff member.
Parents sign in each child with a security number and noting time in, child's full name and age and any specific requirements (dietary or otherwise). Parents leave a photo ID and are given a security tag.
