Cost: $22 if pre-registered, $30 day of race.

Active Older Adults
SilverSneakers®
SilverSneakers® is a program provided to Senior members age 65 and older with HealthSpring or Humana Medicare -- eligible insurance. The health care companies will pay for the membership and the Senior then has full facility access to all YMCAs. Maryland Farms YMCA Tennis Membership is an additional cost. SilverSneaker members must fill out the YMCA membership paperwork as well as SilverSneakers® Getting to Know You form. SilverSneakers® classes are low-impact choreographed classes available to ALL members (not just SilverSneakers® members). Trainers utilize fitness balls, resistance bands, light weights and chairs to help seniors with flexibility, strength, coordination, balance and other functional exercises.
Senior Social Activities
Senior Social Activities are advertised on the program information board across from the membership desk. Suzanne Mediamolle, the senior coordinator, plans and advertises these events. Sign ups for upcoming events occurs through the Senior sign-up book at the front desk.
