Developed by Joseph Pilates, designed to strengthen the core muscles, elongate the spine, and deepen the breathing. Done properly, Mr. Pilates used to say : “10 classes… FEEL the difference, 20 classes…SEE the difference, 30 classes, WHOLE NEW BODY! Sounds like good news to me! Intermediate Pilates adds another dimension, incorporating more moves to deepen core strength. Definitely not for beginners! On the other hand, “Beginner Friendly” Pilates on Saturday is totally suitable for beginners!

OUTSIDE only – between 5/27 and 7/18. Rain or shine…hot or cold! This is due to the Thoroughbred swim team using the indoor pool.

If the schedule just says “yoga” – you can bet it is somewhere in between beginner and advanced! Come and pose, stretch, breathe, flex, and relax with some of the best instructors in the city! Traditional and Hatha (asana) yoga most frequently done, with the occasional variation.
