Corporate America On the Move Week is aimed at motivating employees to take small steps towards a healthier lifestyle. As part of that initiative, YMCA of Middle Tennessee centers are deepening their commitment to community-wide efforts to promote healthy living and intensify collaboration with community partners to support employees seeking healthier lifestyles.

Warren's House
Warren's House is Y-CAP's group home. It provides an extended "home away from home" for at-risk youth in East Nashville in an environment that upholds the Christian values of love, discipline and positive guidance.The children who come to a group home like Warren's House have experienced a life full of difficulties, and it is natural for them to fear or feel threatened by their new surroundings. Every effort is made by the program's caring staff to ease this transition and provide as natural a home setting as possible.
After a child arrives at Warren's House, an individual plan is developed to promote good behavior and address their particular strengths, weaknesses and needs. A program is also developed to foster a child's physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development.
In the end, Warren's House mission to provide a loving environment that can provide a secondary home until a child is able to return to his old home or make the transition to independent living.
