ABOUT THE SWIM TEAM

• Ages: 6-18 (must pass base swimming evaluation with a Stingrays coach)
• Cost (Monthly): $90/members, $115/non-members
• Practice dates: Monday-Thursdays
  • Any Skill Level: (9-9:45 a.m. outdoor pool - summer only)
  • Bronze: 4:30-5:15 p.m.
  • Silver/Gold: 5:15-6 p.m.

Sign up in monthly increments. Participants may also see a connector at the Welcome Center to sign up on site.   

Participation Requirements

• Bronze: 50 yards legal freestyle and backstroke
• Silver: 200 yards legal freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke – butterfly kick proficient – knowledge of turns and diving
• Gold: 200 yards legal IM
• Swim team members must be able to pass the YMCA's swim test .
