Our classes offer a fun, supportive space for kids to build confidence, spark imagination, and develop teamwork through games, storytelling, and performance. Why YMCA Theater Classes? Description
Step into a world where anything is possible! In Story Explorers, young actors will embark on an exciting 8-week journey through the world of make-believe—visiting magical forests, flying through space, diving under the sea, and more. Each week features a new theme that sparks imagination and creativity through movement, character play, and storytelling.
This playful theater program helps children build confidence, social skills, and self-expression through fun drama games and group scenes. We are full of imagination, teamwork, and joyful creativity. At the end of the session, friends and family are invited to a special showcase where our explorers bring their favorite characters and stories to life on stage.

Description
Welcome to Script to Spotlight, where we take you on a journey from the very first words of a script to the final, shining moments on stage! Throughout our 8-week class, children will explore the exciting process of creating a performance, from reading and rehearsing a script to bringing characters and stories to life in front of an audience.
Each class will focus on key theater skills such as character development, acting techniques, teamwork, and stage presence. Children will dive into a script, rehearse scenes, learn how to bring emotion and energy into their performances, and collaborate with fellow young actors to create a final performance that highlights their creativity and hard work. By the end of the session, each camper will experience the thrill of stepping into the spotlight, showcasing their acting abilities in a final performance that celebrates everything they’ve learned.
