- Ages: Classes divided between ages 6-8 and 9-12
- Offered: Mondays at either 5 p.m. (ages 6-8) or 6:30 p.m. (ages 9-12) between Jan. 11-March 8

Introducing: Youth Theater Classes!
Welcome to YMCA Theater Classes, where creativity takes center stage! Our classes offer a fun, supportive space for kids to build confidence, spark imagination, and develop teamwork through games, storytelling, and performance. Why YMCA Theater Classes? Winter Class Descriptions
Description
Pack your imagination and get ready for a theatrical trip around the globe! Each week, students will explore stories, traditions, and characters inspired by different countries and cultures. Through acting, movement, and creative play, performers will discover new ways to tell stories while learning about the world around them. The session ends with a showcase featuring scenes performed from their international stories.
Description
Actors aren't the only storytellers in theater. In this unique class, students will learn how directors shape performances by making decisions about casting, movement, staging, pacing, and character relationships. Participants will have opportunities to both perform and direct short scenes, gaining a new perspective on the creative process. The course ends with a showcase featuring student-directed and acted performances.
