DEMOCRACY MUST BE LEARNED BY EACH GENERATION
As one of the nation’s oldest and largest program providers of its kind, The YMCA Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) provides hundreds of thousands of young people with the skills, training, and relationships needed to become life-long engaged citizens and community members.
The YMCA Center for Civic Engagement’s flagship conferences, Youth In Government and Model United Nations, offer hands-on learning opportunities in our government processes as students take on roles as Senators, Lawyers, United Nations representatives, various leadership positions, and more. At CCE conferences, students make friends from a variety of backgrounds, engage in thoughtful debate, practice public speaking, and find their voice.
