Dear Lord,

I am choosing to end my day with this activity. I have worked all day, and now I turn my attention to the work of my body.

Thank you for giving me this body.

May I stretch myself and push myself in new ways. At the same time, may I pay attention to when I need to slow down and recover.

Thank you for the people around me. Help me to notice those working out alongside me and be thankful that I don’t have to do this alone. Together, we are striving to become the healthiest versions of ourselves.

May I use this workout tonight to both think back and look ahead. Recall to my mind all that took place today, and give me a new perspective for tomorrow.

I give you this time. I give you my workout. I give you myself.
